Recap

After arriving in Naporia fleeing from the Empire that had discovered the Rebellion’s ruse and disruption. The group found Naporia in a very uneasy state, with both Mulburg and Greyhawk troops stationed there, but the party’s arrival increased the unease within the town. They arrested Zyllis for being outside after curfew. However during Zyllis’ incarceration his past came back to haunt him, putting him into a fit of frantic desperation as he broke out, fortuitously Maiq managed to find and teleport himself and Zyllis away from danger where the commander of the Greyhawk forces provided an escape for Maiq after he sent a message to the others to escape. Zyllis stayed behind and find his own way out.

After escaping the town and putting a day’s travel south toward Ruststille, there was no sign of Zyllis. Sending messages to him proved fruitless as they received no response. With a looming threat and seeing Zyllis’ previous combat prowess, the group continued southward. Shortly before reaching Ruststille the group met a trader whose cart wheel had broken, the group repaired the cart and bought a couple of magical items from the man he had found in his time and as gratitude to the party. Early the next day the group spied their destination, and a floating island with roots reaching down to the ground and large vines spiralling upward towards it. They had reached Ruststille; Entering the town proper around mid-day, still no sign or word from Zyllis. The rest of the day is yours.

Town

Merric, you've travelled through here many times in the past with your clan helping locals as the town is home to many Dragonborn, although you've never lived here many count you as a local but this is the first time in around 2-3 years since you've been here The town of Ruststille has more or less returned to normal, everyone unharmed in town seems to have a 6 month gap in their memory and those missing body parts are tramatised by the cults doing but are aiding in restoration and trying to return to normal. Followers of the Wild Mother are trying to bring Pinga's monastery back to ground level. All are welcoming, guards no weapons and are freely talking to citizen and helping them. from a quick look can easily spot 10 or so dragonborn walking around.

Tavern If the group doesn't buy anything and just assists Dref will give them a letter to show the inn keep, Kresk, she's a lovely woman, this will make sure you have somewhere to stay and keep full, and an extra reward for you.
The Perfect Blanket: A simple black bear fur blanket one side depicting a campsite with red and silver threads and the other an igloo with blue and silver thread. It is a thermal blanket with perfect heat transfer: one side is always warm, the other is always cool. Can be used to survive extreme temperatures.

Chieftan Vizzo

If they ask for a commander or mayor, etc. they are pointed to a Lizardfolk man playing with some children in the street, Vizzo. Upon hearing that there is trouble in Naporia and the army is starting to move toward Naporia and likely onto Ruststille, hearing this Vizzo reassures that the town will be safe, they have defences but will not let on what they are to make sure they're not comprimised.

If the Rebellion stays and the army arrives he'll reveal the traps:
Houses: few of the houses on the perimeter are rigged to explode, these houses are marked a small X etched on the underside of the doorknob.
Spike pits many spike pits are hiding in the nearby forests, signified by small orange flowers that face the greatest source of light, typically they do not move.
Bunkers, small one man bunkers just large enough to have a bow horizontally and from the outside typically only a very small slit to see into.
Tunnels for outlawed, women, and children to hide in.
Swinging Log Classic trip wire, rigged into a tree that drops a log onto the trigger.
Wasp attracting arrows Archers have vials of potent wasp pheromone.
Treant Oakenshade is a ent that lives in the forest and will defend if needed.

Mystan

As your travelling through town, you hear a calling out in your direction, as a large silver dragonborn approaches, arms wide “Son! How have you been?”, Merric you immediately recognise Heskan. Has to kneel down to hug.
What: Recently heard that the town was taken over by slavers and left in ruin, when we arrived the slavers were gone and people were struggling.
Who (Clan): The whole clan is here trying to help, most are closer to the monastery helping the ones used as slaves. Your mother and sister are helping some preists from OldTree with the rejoining.
Who (Cult): The slavers might of been the same cult but looks like they failed again, similar situation to when we found you. It's difficult to get up and down but it's only lizardfolk up there now cleaning, everything else was brought down and burried by the preists.
When: It's been a month since the island rose but unclear how long before that the town was under control.
Naporia: Sounds like your the first to arrive with news, no messengers or sages have come with news.

Pinga's

Base Mass grave for cultists and individual graves for everyone else, the mass grave is covered but contains Narkul, Seer, Seeker, and two Erinyes. Items have been looted and given to the monks. Using detect good/evil or magic shows a powerful evil or necrotic source where Narkul is burried. If Merric approaches the gravesite he'll feel like something is watching him.

Get up To get up the group can find their own way or use a cable car system to travel up/down, it only has one car suspended by a thick rope and pulley manned by Lizardfolk at either end. The system can only take two people at a time, anymore would be dangerous. There is another system that is being built to be safer and hold greater weight but is under construction. The gap between roots and vines makes it impossible to climb, once joined it'll be possible but that's not expected for another month.

Top You all reach to top of the floating island and find 5 lizardfolk working, cleaning up and rebuilding. There are more inside

As all of you are looking around the room, the sound of wind echoes, the air grows cold, the feeling of goosebumps sweep over all of you. Merric you feel a stinging in your mind and a voice comes to you. “Curious, you hold my blood yet I do not know who you are.” The large doors to the monastary slam shut with great force, blowing out the majoirty of candle light in the room, in the dim light, you see two teenage humans twins, one male, one female that weren't in the room before and they sink into the ground. Which is when you notice another figure who was standing behind them, he looks to be a half elf man in robes or would be if their skull wasn't caved in. Roll inititave.

Sunday

Morning All troops arrive,
The Pointed Arrows - Elven Archers
The Myriad Troops - Human Infantry
Generation Fighters - Tiefling Infantry
Asmodeus' Worthy - Tiefling Infantry

Varis, Status report: All troops have arrived, ready for any task, a few of them are now into plant weaving during their down time of course, they're getting good at making baskets and flower crowns now. Caelynn wants to take some of the archers up to the monastery as a lookout.
Caelynn, All troops arived, ready for tasking and battle at the word. A few troops have taken up basket weaving thanks to Varis. I'll have a few scouts set up a perimeter, Is the monastery safe? would be a great vantage point for archers and observers.

Gift Whoever they talk to first has a gift, a mysterious weapon that appeared a few days ago.
Machete (Short sword) +2 (1d6+2) Advantage against Constructs (Out of Time oneshot)

Monday

Morning Teo returns, news that Lord Francis has increased trade since the death of the Lady and Riza's escape. Has been sending live dragonborn northward and organs wouthward. Unable to get any of them out without backup otherwise risk of failure is high

Mid-day Scouts return with reports that enemy forces have stopped moving forward, and stopped the attacks in Naporia, unable to determine a cause. This news puts some folk and troops at ease but others on edge as it doesn't seem to make sense why they've stopped.

Evening Lots of whispering and uncertainty among troops and folk

Tuesday

Outlawing, As you leave (accomodation) after you've woken up, most if not all town folk are talking, cheering, or otherwise openly upbeat. Very different atmostshpere than previous days. However a few that are cheering when they lock eyes with Hope grow solem and bow their heads, looking to your troops, most notably the Generation Fighters and Asmodeus' Worthy your two units of Tiefling troops, are primarily down and quiet, a few seem chipper but most are not. The Pointed Arrows, your Elven archers. and The Myriad, your Human troops have the same attitude as the town folk and are upbeat. You all notice Sarren and a pale skin human man with blonde hair wearing long blue coat.

Speak with Tiefling troops Word came early this morning, the outlawing of races has changed. Only Tieflings are now outlawed, the others are permitted to walk the lands freely. Still unsure what sparked the change

Speak with Other troops or town folk If Hope is with whoever is asking they'll say sorry and then go onto to explain the changes, it is a great victory but they all understand more work is to be done, unsure of what caused the changes.

Griss Up to Sam. Comes with news of Blinding Spear, and cause of outlaw changes
Sarren After Griss has been introduced, locks eyes with each of the group. Bows his head and “Good Luck”, he turns and steps through a portal that opened behind him and closes just as quickly.
