It is Tuesday evening, a few of you briefly met Miguel and the units half a day march away from Ruststille, Only Tieflings remain outlawed, you have around 100 Tiefling troops spread across two units, Hope, and an unknown amount of civilian Tieflings. M'aiq leading the defence efforts. The monastery calling for Merric throughout the days. Riza's tribe under heavy guard, Teo unable to save them without endangering them but gained lots of intel. Hope has Miguel's notebook full of leads and info, and a great danger looming. Griss a new member, bearer of good and bad news.
Sarren approaches the group, a scroll and a note in hand. If anyone speaks he'll hand the items to them, otherwise places them on the table. See rest below.

Sarren gives the group a scroll and a note.

Note There is a drawing of a Tiefling with long dark wavy hair, her horns curl backward and look to go behind her ears, written underneath is “Aradoris, she never saw the devastation that came to her people but I know she would love the work you are doing, as do I.” As you look back up from reading the note, Sarren looks nervous as if waiting for something. He looks to each of you takes a deep breath a lets out a soft and quiet “Avia” in elvish meaning good luck and farewell. He turns and with a wave of his hand he disappears.

The War Mage and Miguel try to provoke and gauge the reaction of the Rebellion and get them to attack first so Miguel can claim that the Rebellion instigated fighting.
The War Mage and 2 guards drag a blue Tiefling wearing Rebellion armour, he looks to be mid 20s and terrified, trying to shake off the guards (Illusion, Investigation 14) out of a building into the central community area, they make a display of gathering people while waiting for the Duke. If the group try to talk to the Tiefling a guard will quickly butt in and say “If you speak demon you'll die here and now”. He looks paralysed with fear, scared to look up from the ground or move.
The Duke arrives, a wooden block stained blood red on the top with scouring across the surface is placed in front of the Tiefling. A large shirtless and ripped human stands next to the Tiefling and block, wielding two battle axes, but as you take a closer look he isn't holding them, his hands have been replaced by the axes. Cleaver.
A generic looking knight, covered in armour preventing the view of any defining personal features stands behind the Tiefling. Maximus Genericus.
Standing next to the War Mage looks to be a man in long dark robes, keeping an eye on people that are close to the scene before you. Vincent. On the other side is another man, he has many belts and pouches, the tools that aren't covered look to be common implements used for torture, he is keeping any eye ontop of buildings and more distant folks with a bow at the ready. Randy.
Miguel stands on the opposite side of the block to large brute of a man, you can see he is straining a grin through his half burnt face,1) his hand on his sword, still sheathed. Miguel ignores any threats or calls from the group unless they move forward or attack.
“Well, this is a bigger crowd than Naporia. Lets get right to it. By the power given to me by King Solomon Walterus the Righteous of the Reton Empire and leader of the Royal Conglomerate. I sentence this outlawed Tiefling to death.” He turns to the axed hand man and the knight and gives a nod. The Knight pushes the young Tiefling down so his head and neck are on the block. You hear him muttering and pleading. “Please, no no no, I'm sorry, please I..”
The axe swings down and with a snapping crunch, the head of the Tiefling falls off the block and straight onto the dirty ground, blood spilling out being absorbed by the sand and dirt. Miguel looks at the body, then his men. “Continue the search.” Turns to the group and crowd “Your smarter than the lot at Naporia.”
Mercy Kill, attack goes straight through, 20+ hit Maximus. Investigation check.
Teleport/Boost/Targeted, Spell/Ability fails. Investigation check.
Attack anyone else, begin War.
Message to Tieflings, they begin a head count takes a couple minutes. All troops accounted for, no one is missing.
Claim it's an illusion, Miguel out of anger cuts down the illusion, blood and limbs falling to the ground. A few seconds later the body and gore disappear. “Continue the search.” Turns to the claimant “Your smarter than the lot at Naporia.”

Base Mass grave for cultists and individual graves for everyone else, the mass grave is covered but contains Narkul, Seer, Seeker, and two Erinyes. Items have been looted and given to the monks. Using detect good/evil or magic shows a powerful evil or necrotic source where Narkul is burried. If Merric approaches the gravesite he'll feel like something is watching him.
Get up To get up the group can find their own way or use a cable car system to travel up/down, it only has one car suspended by a thick rope and pulley manned by Lizardfolk at either end. The system can only take two people at a time, anymore would be dangerous. There is another system that is being built to be safer and hold greater weight but is under construction. The gap between roots and vines makes it impossible to climb, once joined it'll be possible but that's not expected for another month.
Top You all reach to top of the floating island and find 5 lizardfolk working, cleaning up and rebuilding. There are more inside
As all of you are looking around the room, the sound of wind echoes, the air grows cold, the feeling of goosebumps sweep over all of you. Merric you feel a stinging in your mind and a voice comes to you. “Curious, you hold my blood yet I do not know who you are.” The large doors to the monastary slam shut with great force, blowing out the majoirty of candle light in the room, in the dim light, you see two teenage humans twins, one male, one female that weren't in the room before and they sink into the ground. Which is when you notice another figure who was standing behind them, he looks to be a half elf man in robes or would be if their skull wasn't caved in. Roll inititave.
