Choose a spell of 5th level or lower that you can cast, has a duration of 1 minute or longer, a casting time of 1 hour or shorter, and can target you. You cast that spell as part of casting permanency, expending spell slots for both.

Spells made permanent in this way no longer require concentration to maintain and do not require the use of a spell slot beyond the initial casting.
