If he has the chance he'll try to explain Naomi died 19 years ago when blew her own cover while trying to find a way to kill King Hayton, he only turned her in to protect himself and the King. It was either she dies or they both die.
He truely doesn't know what happened with their daughter Maleny. He knows Naomi was publiclly executed, he didn't attend and doesn't know where her body is.

Boots: He's an arborist who has a farm on the edge of sprawl toward the North shore.
