Entering the portal you find yourselves among large and vibrant trees, about 20ft away you see the grass and roots slowly eating a body of a man, even at a distance you can see a large piercing wound in the back. Peering through purple leaved vines you can see a metal and stone pillar or device 60ft away that stands out from the twisting and overgrown environment.

Farmer - Medical 13+ The piercing wound is most certainly the cause of death, there is other damage but seeing the area it was done after death, examining the killing blow there is some searing and pieces of rock.

Device - Reaching the device it has two spikes, one point to the portal you entered from, the other pointed into dense corn like stalks. While examining the device you hear Dance's voice “Wonderful, how are you lot involved? Here to prevent destruction of a source of evil again?” A pool of sand grows from the surrounds and Dance appears next to the device.

Dance - They're here working for la Cour Florale, investigating rifts in the Feywild that are connecting to Felwind. They're unwilling to give up information as it's confidential court information and even if they could, Dance doesn't trust the group. Dance eventually tires of the group and starts turning the pillar to sand. (Dance suspects the Nine Hells are using the Feywild to reach Felwind. Dance has also fled Cros-Glas, returning to the Feywild but no set home in Felwind)

As the device is almost destroyed or group starts to leave the second spike sends of a red beam into the vines, the crunching of stone and a burning hiss sound from within. Dance stops. The observant among you notice a red glow growing the ground shaking slightly as a large stone being emerges, a flat surface on its chest bears the sigil. It stares down Dance and whoever is closest to them, the being raises its shield and slams the end into the ground. It says “You fools cannot stop us” in infernal and a cloud of red lightning appears above the device. One barbed devil drops high from the trees, another comes through portal you entered from. Roll initiative.

Returning from the portal it remains open until scroll is used to close it. Looking toward the city you see a pillar of black smoke, from the city you see a horned devil flanked by a few small imps flying to where the portal was if closed (if still open will charge through) and slows to a stop 150ft away as it see you and a lack of portal. It watches for a while before it lowers to 10ft above the ground opens a pouch as ash and stone follow its hand and with the other produces a familiar looking scroll to those who have examined the ones found by Kat. There is one Devil and 10x Imps. The Imps using fire bolts to ignite crops, blocking paths through fire and sight line through smoke to the Devil.

House - The marked house has been set on fire, by the time you reach it has been extinguished, large crowd surrounds and City guard are trying to clear the area. A gnome woman (Sherai) is in has been taken to the temple and Timmic has died trying to stop them from taking Sherai.

Tirak - Those with high passive perception noticed since entering the city you've been followed by a young half-orc dirt covered boy named Tirak he will try down an invisibility potion if any try to approach, he's been tasked by the Gold Alliance to follow them and report back and suspicious activity. He'll try to run, if he can't he'll fight but poses little to no threat +1 to hit (1d4+1) dagger, 5hp. If group promises more than 5 gold or to help his Ma he'll tell but only after receiving. Threats will not work unless killed and revived
