Quest: Banish or kill Narkul

Prayer: Next time Ironhide prays he'll be face to face with Ulaa. “Sindri, If you cannot find and destroy Narkul's phylactery you will need to banish him, I don't know any details of his phylactory but the rites of banishment are in the archives of the DragonHold museuem, they list everything you will need for the banishment. He returned from the banishment before but he had manipulated people and using the Book of Vile Darkness and his hand he was able to return, you have the hand and the book has been lost, We'll be able to contain him forever as long as that doesn't change.

Rites of Banishment
Using three swords of Grayhawk that have been breathed on by a dragon in the last month stab the swords into the Lich, each sword will slow its movement but they are still able to attack.
The swords will not stay in until the Lich has been weakened (Under 25% HP), be cautious not to kill the Lich.
Need three successful Religion checks, DC 14, 17 & 20. Failing by 10 or more makes text unreadable for 1 turn.

Destroying a Phylactery
Soak the phylactery in holy water for 24 hours, during this time it will release the souls trapped within, prepare for a fight.
Once the time is up the water turns black and disapates, leaving behind nothing.
The Lich is now in their weakest form, finish the job.

Quest: Stop Narkul from ascending to Godhood

Vision:
Demaratos as night settles in you see a fire light not too far from camp, hidden amongst the trees of the marsh. (If others looks they cannot see it, if other go with Demaratos, he stops in place, looking into his eyes there is a faint fire glistining) as you approach it the ground becomes solid and the air becomes dry, as you get to the source you see a Keres holding a flaming torch. “Narkul doesn't just threaten your world, his plan for become a god threatens all worlds, stop him, no matter the cost. The town of Redkiln holds great power that could benefit him, destroy the temple in Redkiln and I will grant you the power he wishes to unleash.” as she finishes speaking you blink and find yourself standing in the middle of the marsh (with or without friends) and you can see your campsite behind you.

Hidden:
The town of Redkiln has a Balor imprisoned underneath the town, it was imprisoned after coming from the Ashlem War in 12276 and tried attacking the town but was deafeated. Beneath the temple is a water powered machine that keeps the Balor in a sleep, stopping the machine awakens it and he will try opening rifts to the Nine Hells.

Reward:
After releasing the Balor, Keres grants Demaratos a necklace that can open a rift to the Nine Hells for 1 hour once per week. 50% chance of summoning

Codex Terragnosis
Quest: Find the Codex Terragnosis, stop Narkul from taking it away from the material plane.

Vision:
As you fall asleep from exhaustion you find yourself flying high above mountains, they stretch away in three directions you at the middle. You start falling at speed but there is a peace and warmth. Find yourself standing at the foot of the mountains as they bend around. A waterfall and stream is beside you, looking to see where it leads you seemingly float down the river, through marshland and find yourself at the doors of a castle. The castle has two towers at the back connected by a bridge. You feel a great threat is contained within its walls, as this feeling comes over you the doors open to reveal a King sitting on a throne, a book floats between the two of you. Do you do anything?
Move towards: Feel a warmth and peace as you approach the book. but before you reach it the King holds out his hand and the book moves towards him, everything starts getting cold and dark. The dream ends.
Move away: Start to feel cold, if continue a light beeze pushes towards the castle, if continue again the dream ends.
Look at the King: Perception:

  • DC 10-14 He wears regal robes similar to what you saw Narkul wearing
  • DC 15-19 The King has a crown and a necklace that Narkul didn't have, The crown is simple and has small emeralds lining the rim, the necklace is a emerald in the shape of a kite held in place by a silver frame and chain.
  • DC 20+ There is also another book by his side, it reminds you of the book Narkul had but in much better condition

Look at the Book: Perception:

  • DC 0-12 The book is bound by by bark
  • DC 13+ As the book spins you see on the front the word “Terragnosis”
