Daughter to a Goddess of the Fate Domain. Meluyami is one of the few true Demi-Gods that walk the mortal realms in this age. Though looking upon her the common folk would only see the monstrous Yuan-Ti and others would see a quirky snake lady.
Meluyami is a fun, bubbly if rebellious lady with an interest in the history of Felwind and the engineering behind magic items, Figuring out how things work and how it got to that point. She is strongly independent but her helpful nature thrives in social environments, where there are people around. You can trust she is capable on her own but you know she is happier with others to talk too.

the Yuan-Ti species has a wide spectrum of different types and sub-species. Meluyami falls just before a Pure-Blood, Being known as a Naga Yuan-Ti, she appears as a humanoid torso with legs replaced with a long serpent body. However she is completely covered in the snake scales of a typical serpent and her humanoid features are all put through a serpent filter, with claw fingers, a snake shaped snoot, long pointed ears and four arms rather than two.
Her scales are golden yellow while her underbelly is a cherry blossom pink. Her hair shares that same shade of pink while her eyes are a deep striking sapphire blue. Often dressed in a top and skirt though much of her body is exposed, her scales are strong and solid able to shake off the average attack.

Meluyami has dreams to catalogue and study the many mechanics and styles of Magic-Item crafting, With plans to be a fully fledged Magewight-Crafter.

Her mother has given Meluyami a love and respect for books and the written medium in general. Though its never bee her passion she still knows much of the techniques behind book making and maintenance as well as proper storage and handling practices. Sometimes slithering into a library she can't help but pick out and judge what she sees wen there are lacklustre book practices going on.
She has a good relationship with her family. Her mother and Younger sister especially, Though her older sister she hardly speaks too or really knows. Its not that she is a bad person but Kakatine and Meluyami's world views just clash too much to forge a good relation.

Having a rather open mind herself she tries to look at issues from multiple angels and is not quick to jump to conclusions. some see this as not taking sides, others see it as choosing the side that is wrong from their point of view. Its a complicated subject and one many are not interested in hearing. In some cases its remaining neutral, in others its simple making a judgment on facts rather than personal opinions. Unless its one of her own passions she is greatly educated in, she takes her time forming opinions on new issues. Not so much Indecisive but rather slow to act.

Meluyami spend her childhood on the island nation of Promise. Its located far out to sea from any of the major nations and despite having a society, its still rather rustic and lawless. Fuelled by trade and adventure rather than nobles and order. it was the best place to find Adventures, stories, rarities and trouble all in equal spades.

The Yuan-Ti presence in Promise is very high, so nobody batts and eye when Meluyami slithered through the streets of the settlements throughout the islands. When she got old enough to make the long journeys on her own, She will often make the journey to the main port to greet new arrivals and browse any new trade wears. From her home these trips take several weeks there and back so preparation is key.

Meluyami had already left home for the first time when her mother made a journey of her ow to the nation of Athien, only hearing the tales of her mother's adventure when she would return home from her few years long adventure.

Meluyami still remembers the chaos caused when her mother's library was partially stolen, not the books or the treasure but the part of the whole building! Though she could do litle to fix the situation she spent much of those months just tidying up and keeping the Fate's Weave running normally. By the time a rescue mission has entered its early stages of preparation, Her other and the library returned. though worse for wear, repairs were done, stories were shared. it turned out relatively well.
But all that commotion had to have some lasting effects and when a book tally was called it was found several were missing.

Meluyami has been tracking news and sightings of the missing books from her mother's library for almost a year now. and it seems that almost all of them have at least some lead tracing back to the nation of Uthasil. she set out with plans for a long adventure to track down the books and return them home. Though despite her early efforts she wasn't coming up with anything. She put up a few jobs on boards and was contacted soon after.
But unfortunately it was a trap, Bandits having lured her to capture her and hold her for randsom.

Despite only being only just a day or two away from the main party they never came to the bandit camp so never rescued Meluyami. So instead she took it upon herself and got herself out. Going to Aqi'Sumah to recover and gather back her resources.
