How to destroy the hand
The hand cannot be destroyed as long as he lives, if he gets the hand he'll be unstopable

Why he didn't take the hand back
Removing the hand kills the host and opens a rift to the Far Realm
If host is dead it opens a rift
Narkul doesn't kill unless he is attacked first
